Sea Vista sits within a quiet enclave in central Malibu, a coastal house reworked for light: pale oak floors, warm timber ceilings and walls of pocket glass that fold away to the garden. Ocean and mountain views frame the main rooms, and the plan stays open from the living room through the dining area to the kitchen.

Outside is where the house spends its time. A heated pool and spa sit in a broad lawn with mature planting, a BBQ area and several places to sit out of the wind. It is one of the few Malibu houses in the collection that takes short stays, which makes it the easy answer for a long weekend by the coast.
