A Spanish Colonial behind the gates, in its own botanical garden.

The gates open to a motor court and a house that turns inward: arcades, herringbone floors, tall arched windows and a courtyard lawn shaded by more than four hundred species of trees and flowering plants, over a hundred of them palms. Eight en-suite bedrooms sit above the entertaining rooms, and the primary suite has dual closets, a lounge, a private movie theatre and two spa bathrooms.

Outside is where the house spends the evening: a cascading waterfall into the pool and spa, a ten-seat sunken fire pit, an outdoor bar and barbecue, a sport court for pickleball and padel, and quiet corners set aside for meditation and yoga.
