Bel Air, Los Angeles
A Mediterranean-modern estate at the East Gate of Lower Bel Air, moments from the Bel Air Hotel.

The house
Calista Oasis sits at the East Gate of Lower Bel Air, a short walk from the Bel Air Hotel, spanning roughly 8,800 square feet of brand-new living space. Designed in collaboration with Eran Gispan of Gispan Design, the house sets Mediterranean-inspired calm against contemporary lines, and automated sliding walls open the main rooms to limestone terraces and balconies for a private resort atmosphere closer to an Aegean escape than a city house.
Inside, sunlit rooms are finished in custom walnut millwork, handcrafted plaster, select-grade hardwood and curated travertine, with lighting by Apparatus and Allied Maker. The sculptural chef's kitchen is built around integrated Miele and Wolf appliances, and the plan takes in bedroom suites with spa-inspired bathrooms in Gessi and Graff fixtures, an executive office, a state-of-the-art theatre and a detached limestone-clad ADU with its own rooftop deck. Outside, landscaped grounds hold 125-year-old olive trees and several places to gather through the day.
