Greta Grossman's own house, on a Crest Streets cul-de-sac.

Greta Grossman designed this house in 1948 as her personal home, and it survives as one of the clearest examples of California modernism still in private hands: 3,151 square feet, three bedrooms, an open plan drawn around picture windows that frame the canyon and the city.

The updates are quiet ones — the original architectural elements remain, the finishes behind them are current. Living spaces open onto multiple private patios and a pool terrace screened by dense planting, and the cul-de-sac keeps it still, minutes from the shops and restaurants of Beverly Hills.
